Icom UK will be showcasing its extensive range of marine radio products at this year’s Southampton Boat Show. The UK’s leading outdoor boat show runs from the 16th until 25th September 2011 and attracts hundreds of boats, exhibitors and visitors. Icom UK is on stand H018, situated just outside the southern entrance to Ocean Hall.
Icom UK has announced that it will provide a free hardware upgrade for existing owners of the IC-M505/IC-M603 VHF/DSC Transceivers who purchase the MA-500TR Class B AIS Transponder. The upgrade is free of charge but customers will have to pay for carriage both ways.
Icom is pleased to announce that the MA-500TR Class B AIS transponder is now available. Designed for Non- SOLAS vessels, the MA-500TR is a compact, waterproof Class B AIS transponder that actively notifies other vessels of your exact position, thus increasing your safety at sea.
